Bonnie Bernstein joined CBS Sports in 1998 as a correspondent for THE NFL TODAY and lead reporter for the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship. She serves as a sideline reporter for the CBS Television Network's coverage of THE NFL ON CBS and the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship, as well as host of AT THE HALF, CBS Sports' college basketball halftime studio show. Bernstein has served as a reporter for the Network's broadcast of Super Bowl XXXV and XXXVIII. During coverage of Super Bowl XXXVIII, she became the first reporter to serve as both a network television and a network radio correspondent. In addition, she has served as studio host for the U.S. Open Tennis Championships (2000) and the Hambletonian (2000), as well as NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championship, track and field, and figure skating for CBS Sports. Bernstein serves as a reporter for CBS/Westwood One Radio's broadcasts of "Monday Night Football," and served as a reporter for Super Bowl XXXVII.

Bernstein joined CBS Sports from ESPN, where she was a correspondent for "SportsCenter" (1995-98). At ESPN, she covered a variety of sports, including the NBA Finals (1996-98), the Major League Baseball Playoffs (1995-97) and the NCAA Women's Basketball Championship (1997-98). She also served as a reporter for ESPN's "NFL Countdown" and "College GameDay."

Prior to joining ESPN, Bernstein served as the main sports anchor at KRNV-TV Reno, Nev. (1993-95), and KRNV Radio. She was also the weekend news anchor at WMDT-TV Salisbury, Md. (1993), and the sports and news director for WXJN-FM Radio in Lewes, Del. (1992-93).

Bernstein was graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maryland with a degree in broadcast journalism. While at Maryland, she was an Academic All-America selection (gymnastics) and received the Thomas M. Fields Award for academic and athletic excellence.

Bernstein was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and grew up in Howell, N.J. She lives in New York City.
